If you are promoting events there are simple steps you can take to help people know about the venue you are using and how accessible it is. This is why we ask access questions when you add venue information, this is displayed on the event listings page.

You can also check with performers if anyone has access issues you should be aware of and many companies now are offering shows that may feature audio description, touch tours or signing.

It is good practice to allow entry for assistants or carers of those with access needs in for free. Night Out support this and would encourage promoters to do so.
