Gwawr Edwards, Treflyn Jones, David Bisseker, Efan Barry, Bois Y Fro Gwawr Edwards is a well known singer throughout the UK and further afield. At 17 she was offered a scholarship to study singing at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff before gaining a first class Masters degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. She has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Cadogan Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Manchester Bridgewater hall, and the Millennium Centre, Cardiff to name a few, accompanied by the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the BBC Concert Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra and the National Orchestra of Wales. In Opera, she has sung the roles of Paquette in Bernstein's Candide, Rossina in Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Melpomene in Gluck's Il Parnaso confuso, Euridice in Charpentier's La descente d'Orphée aux Enfers, Zerlina in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Virtu in L’incoronazione di Poppea, Monteverdi, and Donna in Handel's Rinaldo, for companies such as Glyndeboyrne Festival and Tour, Opera de Lorraine, Bampton, and Opera Cymru. Gwawr has traveled the world entertaining audiences in Asia, Europe, North and South America, and also occasionally presents for S4C and BBC Radio Cymru. Gwawr has two albums out called ‘Gwawr Edwards’ and ‘Alleluia’ and one children’s book and CD called ‘Mali’.
