Khamira's music is real world-fusion - imagine the cinematic scope of the Pat Metheny Group and the grunge funk of Miles Davis' 70s band inter-twinned with passages of melancholic Welsh folk music and Indian classical virtuosity. Suhail Yusuf Khan's sarangi and vocals dovetails with Tomos Williams' trumpet, Vishal Nagar's tabla dances with Mark O'Connor's deep drum grooves while Aditya Balani's guitar soars over Aidan Thorne's relentless bass lines.
