A Made by Sherman Production PINOCCHIO A new version by Jennifer Lunn Welsh translation by Hanna Jarman Pinocchio longs to be real so he can explore the big wide world. He wants to be ‘good, kind and true’, but after a tiny fib makes his nose grow, he runs away on a whirlwind adventure of snowballs, silly games, mischievous new friends, and chaotic fun. Will he learn the difference between right and wrong and make it home in time for Christmas? This joyful new retelling of Pinocchio is packed with music, laughter, and a host of much-loved characters, brought to life by an actor-musician cast. Pinocchio is the perfect introduction to the wonder of live theatre for children aged 3–6. Available in Welsh and English at separate performances.

The Sherman has been through some changes in recent times; we are now looking boldly to the future. We will produce classical text and contemporary plays, in both the main house and the studio theatre. We will also develop and produce new writing, with a strong focus on Welsh or Wales-based playwrights. We will co-produce with creative partners whose vision chimes with our own, and increase the impact and reach of our produced work.
