Performer Name: Gav Cross: Storyteller

Show Name: Tell Tale Twit... A Storytelling Show by Gav Cross

Show Description

Nominated for Best Kids Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival, join Gav for deep dives into the rhymes we seem to know so well but we never really listened to. More nonsense, nastiness, gigggling and roaring chaos for the family. 7+ Having previously rurally toured with Highlights in Cumbria, County Durham, Northumberland and North Lincolnshire (to name a few) Tell Tale Twit is now taking bookings immediately and building a tour in Summer 2025 and I’d love to talk to you about bringing it to your venue. An adapatble and highly silly show for theatres, non-traditional spaces and outdoors. It is a blend of storytelling and stand up comedy for kids that enthralls, outrages and includes at break neck speed! As with all my shows, it can be broken down and used across multi performances for festivals, or performes as a 60 minute show. Nominated for best kids show at the Leicester Comedy Festival. Happy to discuss fees to meet in the middle. Fees adjusted for location and expenses required but should not be seen as a barrier to your programming. Happy to chat!

Gav Cross is a Storyteller and a very silly person. They are very aware that it is the best job in the world! Telling stories at Festivals, Theatres, Libraries, Parks, Zoos, Art Galleries, Schools, Community Spaces, Museums, Pubs and anywhere that wants one. Easy to see and hear from a great distance, they describe themselves as a bit of a ‘turn’. Touring their own Storytelling shows, including the “Twisted Tales for Terrible Children…” and the Leicester Comedy Festival Nominated for Best Kids Show “Tell Tale Twit…” More recently Gav has been titled Story Master at the epic Bradford Literature Festival, where he was privileged to host the countries largest World Book Day event. His latest show is for ‘Grown-Ups’. (Adult doesn’t sound quite right either.) “After Supper Ghost Stories” by Jerome K Jerome is a 4 star reviewed, robust reading of satirical Victorian Ghost stories… Gav loves stories that make their audience laugh or even a little tense. Theses are a particular favourite. No matter what the age the audience might be. “Gav Cross treats children like they’re horrible and adults like they’re children and the results are hilarious and magical.” Larmer Tree Festival “A Master Storyteller” Pound Arts, Wiltshire https://linktr.ee/gavcross
