7Steps performs the music of Miles Davis, one of the towering figures of 20th Century music. The band will play some of the classics associated with the great trumpeter; So What, All Blues, Milestones but also some of the less well known songs from Miles' vast catalogue such as Joshua, Masqualero and Teo. 7Steps presents Miles' music with vigour and passion. Tomos Williams, a key figure in Welsh jazz leads the quintet from the front on trumpet while the band is comprised of stellar Welsh jazz musicians Joe Northwood on tenor sax, pianist Dave Jones, Aidan Thorne or Paula Gardiner on bass and the magnificent Mark O'Connor on drums.

Performer Description Burum is the Welsh word for 'yeast'. The band includes some of Wales's most creative jazz musicians, performing dynamic and original Jazz interpretations of traditional Welsh folk melodies. The band's music fuses a deep respect for the original folk melodies with the flexibility and dynamics of jazz improvisation - beautiful, melancholic melodies are performed alongside fiery solos and deep grooves. Burum released their fourth album 'Eneidiau' (Spirits) in 2022.
