“ I am the event organiser for Catbrook Memorial Hall in the Wye Valley. We chose Long Dogs Ceilidh Band for our New Years Eve event, made possible due to the funding help offered by the Night Out Scheme. I was in touch with the band several times before the event and they were very responsive, something which is important to a small organiser. On the night they showed up on time and were efficient about setting up ( and packing up later) but most importantly of all they gave us a terrific evening. Clear and lively explanation of the dances, excellent mix of Scots and folk tunes, great playing, all created a very happy event so much appreciated by our sold out audience. We danced every dance with joy. We would have this group back any time and can recommend them without reservation.”
