Vocalist Tony Jacobs (Syd Lawrence Orchestra, The Tony Jacobs Orchestra, Friday Night Is Music Night) cordially invites you to a magical couple of hours in the company of some of the greatest songwriters of all time. As well as George Gershwin and Cole Porter, many other songwriters and performers are celebrated including Irving Berlin, Rodgers and Hart, Harry Warren, 'Fats' Waller, Louis Armstrong, Al Jolson and many others. Tony is joined by pianist Martin Litton – a superb soloist as well as accompanist - who excels in the boogie-woogie and stride piano idioms. He has performed with such star names as Humphrey Lyttelton, Kenny Ball and Clare Teal.

Tony Jacobs has presented shows under the Night Out Scheme for some time.
He toured with the Syd Lawrence Orchestra for 10 years and has sung with the Glenn Miller UK Orchestra and Pasadena Roof Orchestra. He has now has his own Theatre Shows including The Tony Jacobs Orchestra, A Touch Of Stardust and The Joint Is Jumpin'.
He now joins forces with pianist Martin Litton - one of the UK's foremost exponents of Stride and Ragtime. He has played with Kenny Ball, Acker Bilk, Humphrey Lyttelton and Clare Teal. And he is a superb accompanist!
Together, Tony & Martin offer a fascinating and informative musical show which celebrates the great songwriters and performers including Fred Astaire, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, Irving Berlin and many others.
