And in Tre Melys, you must have three perfect things to be happy – a perfect outfit, a perfect crown and a perfect lucky charm. That’s what Biwti and her Dad, the King, think anyway. When Biwti bumps into Brogs, a cheeky frog, she begins to learn that there are many different types of perfect and what the secret to happiness really is. Filled with songs, laughter and fun; The Frog Prince / Biwti a Brogs is Gwawr Loader’s delightful reimagining of the classic Brothers Grimm story. Join us for this charming and magical show performed in an informal setting – the ideal introduction to the wonder of live theatre for ages 3-6. Performed separately in English and Welsh. A co-production between Sherman Theatre and Theatr Cymru.

The Sherman has been through some changes in recent times; we are now looking boldly to the future. We will produce classical text and contemporary plays, in both the main house and the studio theatre. We will also develop and produce new writing, with a strong focus on Welsh or Wales-based playwrights. We will co-produce with creative partners whose vision chimes with our own, and increase the impact and reach of our produced work.
