I am offering a one-woman show called Thunder Of Freedom: The night Emmeline Pankhurst came to town. This one-act play is based on archived newspaper coverage of the evening when Emmeline Pankhurst, leader of the Suffragettes movement addressed the town of Llanelli and on Emmeline Pankhurst’s own words. The play also traces Mrs Pankhurst's early life, her career as an activist for social justice, her personal and political struggles and the wider ordeals of the Suffragette campaign. The running time is approx 50 minutes of performance followed by an optional 30 mins audience questions and answers session
