An afternoon or evening in the company of the No1 Ladies offers the delights of big band sound, film favourites and music from all around the world. An orchestra that promises fun, frocks and frolics with a delicious recipe of musical treats. From nostalgic waltzes and tangos to torment you, your hearts will be singing and they will put a smile on your face. And not only that - there is more! - the promise of tea, coffee and delicious home-made cakes during the interval, a chance to chat to the ladies themselves, to try out an accordion or two, or treat yourself to a lovely accordion keyring or musical mittens on the merchandise stall
Generally the lighting provided in a hall is sufficient but we all have lights that can be fixed to our music stands if necessary
The orchestra takes up an area approximately 5m x 5m. We need access to a single socket for the basso amp and we have a wireless microphone
We can provide posters and flyers for the concerts
