Performer Name: Adverse Camber in association with Theatrau Sir Gâr

Show Name: Stars and their Consolations

Show Description

"Stars and their Consolations" is a majestic, intimate and hypnotic re-imagining of Greek myths and legends weaving ancient stories, told poetically by award-winning storytellers Daniel Morden and Hugh Lupton. It includes a spine-tingling electro-acoustic soundscape created by Welsh composer Sarah Lianne Lewis and is an extraordinary and accessible way to experience stories that have been shared around fires for centuries. Be transported into the night sky on the breath of stories that have lit up the darkness for thousands of years. Greek myths of constellations like Orion and Pegasus, plus the Milky Way itself, are brought vividly to life, in this enthralling and truly magical adventure. Witness the gods playing mercilessly with mortals, through stories of lust, pride and passion that will leave you with a hunger to discover more.

We are supporting a number of BSL performances on the tour, and are happy to discuss this with programmers.
We are devising a lighting and projection plan for technically equipped theatre spaces. We anticipate touring a version for most Night Out venues which includes live storytelling and music only. However we are happy to discuss this with promoters based on the needs and technical possibilities of each venue.
Performance space: ideally 4m (w) x 2m (d) by 3m (h) but flexible to larger or smaller spaces. We will be touring with one technician. The show is likely to be amplified to achieve the correct balance between recorded music and live storytelling.
We offer a full mix of flyers/posters and digital marketing and will discuss this with you, to provide the right mix for your audiences. We have a dedicated marketing manager attached to the show. We are also leading an engagement project across Wales in Wales Dark Skies week (13 - 22 Feb 2026) which could connect with your community ahead of performances. // Rydym yn cynnig cymysgedd llawn o daflenni/posteri a chynnwys marchnata digidol a byddwn yn trafod hyn gyda chi, i ddarparu'r cymysgedd cywir ar gyfer eich cynulleidfaoedd chi.
