Show Description
Each performance will highlight music that I have written and recorded for small ensemble in the contemporary jazz setting focusing on group improvisation. Over the past 35 years I have performed in many different musical settings and musical genres. I strive to incorporate this varied experience with each performance along with my bandmates. During each show we will present the listener with musical conversations between group members that hopefully will tell a compelling story and convey feelings through spontaneous musical interaction. This is the essence of jazz, and since moving to Wales 18 months ago from the US this is what I hope to bring to Welsh audiences.
Performance area size can vary from 30 seats to a mid/large auditorium or theatre. Larger venues would require a sound system. Get in/get out time, 15-20 minutes
