Show Description
A retelling of the C17th English Civil Wars, with a particular emphasis on the Levellers and the fight for the right to vote. It has generous helpings of comedy and audience participation.
If a venue can provide a BSL interpreter, then the show will be accessible for D/deaf people.
Since storytelling is word-based rather than image-based, the show is accessible for people with vision impairment.
As long as a venue is wheelchair accessible, then the show is accessible for wheelchair users.
I do not bring my own lighting. A general wash will be ideal.
Minimum Performance Space required:
2.5m x 4m, but I can squish into a slightly smaller space if necessary

Stage:
No, I don’t bring a stage. I’m standing for the whole show so should be visible to the audience. Also, I get 8 members of the audience up to re-enact the Battle of Marston Moor as a spoon fight, and if there was a stage they might fall off.
PA:
I do not use PA as I can normally project my voice for an audience of up to 100 / a space of 64 m2.
I can supply flyers with a space for overprinting. I can also supply copy and a choice of images if a promoter wishes to make their own flyers.
I can promote the show via my mailing list and social media.
