Style: Folk. Original songs which tell about Life as it is, pulling no punches from the sadnesses and the funnynesses it brings. Songs about Money, Love or the lack of either or both as well as tales of dog ownership. The aim of the show is to let the audience escape maybe their own lives, and imagine problems as well as joys from a different perspective. A mix of serious songs about serious subjects to singalongs about pussycats, dogs, rejection and much more.
I have my own PA. I also have my own lighting, but inhouse is sometimes better, so just enough to light me and my place on the stage, please.
Show can be tailored in length to suit local needs and I am happy to work with a local artist as my guest support.
I have my own lighting, PA and a 2m or 3m wide freestanding backdrop.
Performance area needed is flexible but say from 1.5 m deep. 2 m wide, height - standard ceiling height. I also have a stage which can be either 1mx 1m or 2m x 1m.
Get-in time minimum ideally 2 hours before start allowing for setup and eating. I can cope with one hour if necessary.
Get-out max 3/4 hour.
I can provide PDF's of posters which can be printed at A4 or A3. Happy to discuss the promoter's requirements such as handouts.
