Performer Name: Sara Hartel
Show Name: Foreigner in my Body
Show Description
“Sometimes I feel like a foreigner in my own body” Sandra isn't feeling right, so our helpful Audio Description is going to fix her. They have organised for Sandra to go on a trip. Only, it's not where Sandra wants to go. But fighting the voice that has guided you your entire life is challenging. This tumultuous journey explores the parallels of being trans and a foreigner to the UK. With its tongue in cheek tone, it tackles the struggles and joys of taking ownership of your own body. Expect the luggage carousel of emotional baggage, burlesque of airport security and a plane crash live on aerial silks.
