The Barnone Brothers: Bill Taylor-Beales and Phil Okwedy are long standing Singer-song writer and Story teller with a passion for weaving music - song and word together to explore the human condition. Myth, legend, social history and autobiographical story interlaced with music and song from the Blues tradition. The show explores themes of enslaved peoples; working class poverty and protest; the 19th & 20th century struggle of man against machine and humanity’s current 21st century experience all in the light of the Blues/Spirituals tradition as a catalyst of resilience and hope. For large mainstream theatres we have a lighting plan and thumb drive with pre set LX cue sheet - with ETC ION showfile. For smaller venues we can adapt to whatever is available.
