Nia Tyler is a soulful vocalist and Y Llais (The Voice) 2025 semi-finalist hailing from Ammanford, Carmarthenshire. A proud, fluent Welsh speaker, Nia’s musical roots were planted early through school choirs and Eisteddfodau. While her passion for performance never wavered, Nia chose to pursue a degree in Psychology. During her third year, her life changed when she suffered a stroke—an experience that transformed her into a dedicated advocate for stroke survivors and those living with acquired brain injuries. Nia Tyler is currently working on original musical. She’s also established a “stroke choir,” a project that beautifully bridges her expertise in music and psychology. By leading these music therapy-inspired sessions, she creates a supportive space where the cognitive and emotional benefits of rhythm and melody can thrive. With over three years of experience performing at corporate events, private functions, and weddings, Nia is a seasoned professional.
