Performer Name: Elijah Jeffery & Eddie Gripper

Show Name: Elijah Jeffery & Eddie Gripper | An Evening of Story Telling through Music

Show Description

After over five years of collaboration, vocalist Elijah Jeffery and pianist Eddie Gripper bring their unique musical partnership to the stage. Their genre-defying show blends original songs, hand-picked covers (The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Elton John...) and a nod to their roots in the Great American Songbook of Sinatra and Nat King Cole. Releasing in June 2025, their self-titled album—written and recorded in just eight weeks—is the culmination of a shared passion for songwriting. Featuring seven original tracks and a never-before-heard adaptation of the 17th-century aria Dido’s Lament, this “eagerly awaited” (The Jazz Mann) collaboration straddles progressive pop, indie folk, and alternative jazz. Though both trained in jazz, their influences are wide-ranging. From the folk-inspired Shifting Seasons and the introspective ballad Because of You, to the art-pop anthem Close Your Eyes, the album reflects their commitment to progressive songwriting and genre-fluid storytelling for today’s streaming world.
