Show Description

With All My Fondest Love is an autobiographical, one-person play that follows love and loss across three generations of one family. Performed at the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2024, this tender and reflective true story has been called a 4-star ‘hidden gem, par excellence’ (The Reviews Hub). While hoping to reconnect with his ex-girlfriend, Noah discovers a dusty box of unread diaries and letters in his attic. Hidden inside is the forgotten story of his grandparent’s marriage. This moving yet hopeful true story is one grandson’s attempt to piece together two forgotten lives, from Frank Sinatra and amateur cricket to burnt letters and unspeakable loss. Their ordinary yet curious marriage entwines with Noah’s own messy romance, challenging him to find hope and forgiveness within the chaos of heartbreak and memory. Celebrated by the Oscar-winning writer Simon Beaufoy (The Full Monty, Slumdog Millionaire) as a ‘quietly devastating, beautifully written piece of drama.’ With All My Fondest Love will bring generations together, prompting further connection and conversation about our own family history and the love stories of our lives.
