Show Name: Water Wars

Show Description

Renowned Welsh theatre company Company of Sirens is eager to announce Water Wars, a powerful new eco-thriller by acclaimed playwright Ian Rowlands. This hard hitting bi-lingual production, presented in both Welsh and English, will tour theatres across Wales in the Spring, bringing audiences a timely exploration of one of the most pressing environmental crises of our time. Water Wars is a powerful and visceral eco-thriller which delves into a dystopian near future, where global water shortages spark political conflict and personal betrayals. As communities are torn apart by dwindling resources, the play questions humanity's priorities, the price of survival, and the impact of environmental degradation on the fabric of society. With its hard-hitting, uncompromising blend of suspense, political intrigue, and deeply personal stories, the production is set to engage audiences and spark important conversations about sustainability, ownership, and the future of our existence.
