A barn dance / twmpath / ceilidh suitable for all ages, and fitness levels including dance caller to teach and lead the dancers. With the band playing a mixture of modern hits, ranging from Elbow to George Ezra, and loads of traditional Irish and Scottish pub songs and Celtic tunes in between dances. We guarantee to get everyone's toes tapping!



Anyone that can listen to music can enjoy our show. Anyone with an average range of mobility can also take part in the dances which are aimed at all ages and abilities.
Adequate lighting to be able to see our instruments, etc.
We require access to a power socket that can cope with having many different devices connected to it, and also need a space approximately 4-5m wide and 2-3m deep. We don't perform in direct sunlight or in the rain.
We can supply images for promo purposes, as well as t-shirts with the band logo on if given enough time.
Living and working on and around the Gower, Swansea, The Worried Men of Gower are a super flexible folk, roots and country band that can play as a duo, trio or larger group depending on what you require. Our aim is to have fun and to make sure those we play for are having fun, too! We play birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, Ceilidhs, twmpaths, barn dances and everything else. Our repertoire is very diverse including country, roots, rock, pop, and of course lots of traditional folk music and favourite drinking songs from around the British Isles.
