Wales and Patagonia have great cultural links and we tell the story of the Welsh migrants through music and words with specially written works by Welsh and Argentinian composers. The duo have had the fortune of performing throughout the Welsh colonies in Patagonia including a concert at the famous Welsh chapel in Gaimen which gives their stories and anecdotes great authenticity.
Performer Name: Adam Khan
Triangle media's “Global artist of the Year” nominee Adam Khan was born in Seven Sisters, Neath, South Wales. After his first recital at 15 he was described in the press as “One of Britain’s most promising young musicians”. Adam has given recitals and masterclasses at prestigious venues and festivals all over the world including “The Guitar festival of Great Britain” in Chichester, The Abu Dhabi international series in the Gulf, “Entrecuerdas” in Chile, The Delhi international festival in India, Cumbre de Guitarra in Mar del Plata, Argentina, Dundee international guitar festival in Scotland, Saratoga arts series in New York, ICPNA festival in Lima, Peru, “European encounters” in La Paz, Bolivia. Guitar perspectives festival in Melbourne, Australia. Adam has also performed in Germany, Italy, Portugal, France, Switzerland, China, Holland, Turkey, Pakistan, Malaysia, Romania, India, Kuwait, Qatar and Ecuador. Adam has performed with a variety of Orchestras and chamber ensembles including the Royal Philharmonic,The Allegri string quartet, Lima Chamber orchestra, The Brunel Orchestra. He performed with mezzo Leslie Garrett at the Barbican in London and with the Opera Babes in Rome and Lisbon.
