This true story follows a fascinating life, telling the tale of fearless showgirl “FooFoo LaBelle”. This madcap musical autobiography recounts moments from a career that starts as a teenage ballet dancer, travels the world and ends up as an icon of the Welsh Burlesque scene. With musical genius Jenna at her side Stephanie reveals the secrets of a globe-trotting showgirl, evoking laughter, tears and a flood of nostalgia.This show can be performed in two 45 minute acts with interval, or we have a 70-minute version. The double-act is seamless, with Gawne sharing the tale of her life with Dyckhoff providing the structure, music and cues and banter, keeping FooFoo firmly grounded.
